The Superstition Mountain neighborhood, located in within the Gold Canyon area in Arizona, is part of large mountain that is popular among its residents who use it for recreational purposes. Commonly referred to as The Superstitions, and previously known as Sierra de la Espuma, the area is surrounded by natural and breathtaking features. The community further offers a remarkable lifestyle to its residents as it is situated near an outstanding cultural, business and recreational area though away from the “excitement” of the city.
The region however has a desert climate and experiences high temperatures during the summer and just a handful of perennial rainfall. The Superstition Mountain is bounded by the US Route 60 on the south, State Route 188 on the northeast and State Route 88 on the northwest. Its neighboring towns and cities include Gold Canyon, Apache Junction, Superior, Phoenix and Tortilla Flat.

Other popular activities that are as popular among the residents of Superstition Mountain in Gold Canyon include hiking from various access points like the Lost Dutchman State Park and the Peralta Trailhead which is the most popular.
