Gus started his real estate career in 2004 as the Lead Listing Specialist with the Curtis Johnson Team of Keller Williams Realty where he sold 36 homes for over $9M in sales volume in his first full 12-months as a Realtor®. He went on to become the General Manager for Curtis Johnson Realty and eventually opened up the Chandler area franchise for the company. While there, he was the host of Arizona's Renegade Real Estate Radio Show featuring Curtis Johnson on 550 KFYI. With the help of Nick Trevillian, they discussed and gave insight into the current market trends in real estate every Sunday morning.

With the help of Phil Shaver and Nick Trevillian, Gus co-founded Go Sold Realty in 2009. With a passion to mentor and coach real estate agents to succeed in a challenging career field, Go Sold Realty has consistently sold over 200 homes per year since it's founding and launched many successful careers. While at Go Sold Realty, Gus has been a featured guest on The McMahon Group and Morning Scramble on AZTV-7 discussing real estate issues. He's also been a regular guest on the Real Estate Radio Network on 960 KKNT.

Frustrated with the state of mortgage lending, Gus took on the next challenge in his career and was licensed as a mortgage loan originator in 2012. He joined Cobalt Mortgage and had immediate success closing over 20 loans in his first year. He currently works as a mortgage banker with NationsChoice Mortgage which is a local direct lender based out of Gilbert with 20 years of successful lending experience and a low rate and fees guarantee.

Most recently, Gus partnered up with Jeff Eldridge to form S.E. Realty Group and made the move over to Revelation Real Estate in order to provide their clients with even more support and the benefits that can only be found with a large and successful real estate brokerage. With Gus, Jeff and Revelation's faith-based backgrounds, it was a "match made in heaven."

Prior to Real Estate and Mortgage Lending, Gus served our country in the Air Force and was honorably discharged after completing his commitment. He was also a successful division/project manager for a micro-electronics and pharmaceutical consulting company in California for almost 15 years.

When he isn't working, Gus enjoys spending his time with his beautiful wife of 25 years, Raquel and their 5 children. Gus also enjoys serving at his local church in the creative arts department.

Jeff was a con­struc­tion super­in­ten­dent for sev­eral local home builders for over 16 years (he may have even built the home you’re liv­ing in now). Dur­ing that time he was respon­si­ble for the con­struc­tion and deliv­ery of nearly 1,000 homes, rang­ing from small entry level to mil­lion dol­lar plus cus­toms. Jeff says that, hav­ing built that many homes over the years, he has “seen it all”. Know­ing every aspect of home con­struc­tion gives him a huge advan­tage when it comes to deter­min­ing poten­tial defects (i.e. what’s a Big Deal, and what is not), and the costs asso­ci­ated with any repairs or improve­ments. Whether it’s deter­min­ing the value asso­ci­ated with improv­ing your cur­rent home, or assess­ing the costs of fix­ing up the next, Jeff’s con­struc­tion knowl­edge is invalu­able and offers clients a per­spec­tive and level of ser­vice that very few agents can offer.
